Maaka and Shun's eyes were glued to each other's face. They didn't know what to say or do…they were in another world; where time didn't exist. Shuichi came to them to ask Maaka if she was okay. But he too froze…there was no way they were not twins. Shun Kura and Maaka Aidou had the same face to the last detail.
Maaka abruptly stood up, "I-I-I need…to check in…with Miku." With that, Maaka ran back to the back counter. Shuichi looked at the boy named Shun Kura.
Shuichi asked, "Shun, did you ever hear of a family called the Aidou's before now?"
Shun scratched his head and thought, "Once. I was supposed to be asleep. I was going downstairs for a drink of water. I heard my mom say 'Shun should be with the Aidou's. But I won't let him know. He's MY child! He's never going back!!' I didn't understand, but the word Aidou made me feel whole."
Shuichi said, "I need a blood sample. I need to check. You have to be my brother! You just need to be!" Shun was confused, but even he thought so. He nodded. The 2 of them ran to the men's room. Shuichi was very good at taking blood and analyzing it. Shun sat on the ground and Shuichi took blood from his veins.
Shun asked, "How much time before you'll analyze my DNA?"
Shuichi looked at the blood in the vial, "5 hours at most. Here, lend me your cell number." They both exchanged cell numbers with each other. Shun knew already that he couldn't be related to Mr. And Mrs. Kura. He looked nothing like him and he looked through his mom's journal before. She lost her uterus before he was born…so how could she bear him?
Shuichi continued, "I'll call you as soon as I'm done."
Shun nodded, "I'll be waiting."

Maaka panted, "H-He can't…is he-?" She was so confused. She saw her face when she saw his. No way…she wasn't even related to Shun Kura! Or…was he really a part of her? She felt a connection when Shun caught her from falling. And Shun's voice…it couldn't be a coincidence! He was the missing piece of her heart! But she'd never even seen Shun Kura until now! How could he be that piece?

Shuichi's room was a DNA lab…really, it was. He had a bed and dresser in the corner, and everything else was a lab. He started doing tests on the vial of blood…before it spoiled. And it was quicker than he expected. Then Shuichi thought…Valentine's Day. The same year that Maaka was born. No coincidence, but he was interested. So Shuichi checked up on the birth records. And his jaw dropped. The doctor that aided his mother in giving birth to Maaka…was Shun's mom! That gave him more reason that Mrs. Kura did an Illegal act. Shuichi called the police and readied his evidence.

Shun looked at his phone in sadness; it was true. Shuichi analyzed his blood. The DNA was consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Aidou's DNA…not the Kura's DNA. Shuichi also texted the info about the birth certificate to Shun. Shun knew he had to confront his mother. Now was good…his father was in China doing research. Now was the time…

Mrs. Kura got mad, "HOW DARE YOU EVEN SUGGEST I'M NOT YOUR BLOOD MOTHER?!"
Shun stayed calm, despite his rapid heartbeat, "You have no uterus, I checked. And I got a blood test done. AND I found my twin."
His mother went bonkers, "YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO GET A BLOOD TEST OR READ MY DIARY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! AND WHAT'S WITH THIS SHIT ABOUT HAVING A TWIN?!"
Shun smirked, "You were working on the day I was born. But you took away from my mother…and Maaka Aidou. Remember her?! What about Shuichi Aidou?! Or the Aidou couple?!" At once, Mrs. Kura fell silent. She remembered that sweet, sweet couple. If they found out what she did, she could be put in jail for kidnapping a child who couldn't fight back. But she didn't regret raising Shun. Shun was still her boy in her heart. And just then…the police dashed in.

In court, Mrs. Kura stayed silent as the DNA test was presented. And she even stayed silent about her alibi. The evidence against her was one that she could not deny. And immediately…Mrs. Kura was sent to jail for kidnap. She faced a $50,000 fine and 15 years in jail. But she did nothing to protest as they took her away. She knew that her happy fantasy of having a child as her own was over. She knew that she would do anything for a child…and now she was paying the price for it.

-1 Year Later-

"Shun! Hurry darling! You'll be late for school!" Mrs. Aidou loved her son. Maaka loved him most. Shun ran down. Shuichi, Maaka and Shun ate their omelets and muffins quick. They grabbed their bags and dashed out the door, another graet day awaited them.
